Positioning Sprint · B2B AI Companies · San Francisco

The AI market doesn't have a product problem. It has a trust problem.

Every week, countless AI startups launch with the same claims, the same demos, the same "10x" promises. Buyers have stopped listening. The companies that win from here won't be the best products - they'll be the clearest points of view.

I run a two-week Positioning Sprint that gives B2B AI companies what a crowded market can't ignore: a forged POV, a category narrative, and a 90-day plan to broadcast both.

The Problem

Hype was a strategy. Past tense.

For two years, AI companies could raise, sell, and hire on capability claims alone. That window is closing. Buyers have been burned by demos that didn't survive contact with production. Procurement teams now assume exaggeration. "Powered by AI" went from differentiator to background noise in eighteen months.

What cuts through now is the same thing that has always cut through in a low-trust market: an aithoritative point of view. A claim about how the world works that your company is willing to stake its name on. Not a feature list - a position.

Most founders can't articulate theirs. Not because they don't have one - because they've never been forced to forge it. That's the work.

Forge your POV. Broadcast your truth.Break through the background noise.

The Offer

The Positioning Sprint

Two weeks. One offer. Everything you need to stop competing on features and start converting on conviction.

01
Week One

Forge.

  • Deep-dive working sessions with you and your leadership team
  • Market and buyer - language audit: where the real leverage lies in your category/strong>
  • Your POV, pressure-tested and written: the claim your company stands on
  • Category narrative: why you're not one of many, but the only logical choice
02
Week Two

Arm.

  • Messaging architecture: homepage, sales narrative, one-liner, elevator pitch, objection responses
  • The 90-day Broadcast Plan: exactly where and how your POV goes public
  • Founder talk-track: how you carry the story in sales calls, podcasts, and rooms that matter
  • Handoff session: your team leaves able to run it without me

What you walk away with

  • Positioning document your whole company executes against
  • Sales language that closes
  • 90-day broadcast plan with dates on it

How It Works

No ambiguity. No surprises.

01

20-minute fit call.

You tell me what's true. I tell you whether the sprint fixes it. No pitch theater.

02

Sprint scheduled.

NDA signed, dates locked, pre-work sent. It's short — founders are busy.

03

Two weeks of work.

Working sessions, drafts, pressure-testing. You'll see everything as it's built.

04

Delivery + handoff.

The full positioning system, the 90-day plan, and a team that knows how to run it.

Why Me

You get me. That's the point.

No junior staffers inheriting your file after the partner sells the next client. No 100-page deck that jargons its way around a decision. One senior strategist, twenty years of high-stakes communication work, fully on your problem.

My background isn't growth hacking — it's crisis management, reputation strategy, and twenty years of moving people who didn't want to be moved. I spent two decades in social work, community engagement, and public relations: rooms where the stakes were real, the audiences were hostile, and the message had to land the first time.

That's the muscle your positioning gets built with.

"I've defended narratives under fire, not just launched them."

When your category gets contested — and if you're winning, it will be — you want the strategist who's worked the bad days, not just the launch days.

FAQ & Contact

Straight answers, then let's talk.

Why a flat fee?

Because retainers reward dragging work out, and hourly billing punishes speed. A flat fee aligns us on one thing: the outcome. You know the number before we start, and the scope doesn't move.

We're pre-revenue. Is this for us?

Sometimes. If you're still discovering the product, positioning is premature. If you have something that works and buyers who can't tell why it matters, that's exactly the problem the sprint fixes. The fit call sorts this out honestly.

Do you use AI in your work?

As a tool, where it helps — never as the strategist. The POV, the judgment, and the hard calls are mine and yours. You're paying for twenty years of pattern recognition, not a prompt.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. NDA before we begin, no exceptions. Your positioning, your internal debates, and your unreleased strategy stay between us. Discretion is a large part of what I've been paid for over two decades.

What if we need something custom?

Say so on the call. The sprint is the core offer, but crisis work, executive counsel, and ongoing advisory exist for a reason. If your situation doesn't fit the standard scope, we'll shape something that does.
